Great Mosque Award 2024
Molino Juanito Ortiz won the Gran Mezquita award in the EVOO category at the 11th edition of the Concurso Ibérico Premios Mezquita (Córdoba) in 2024. Their extra virgin olive oil was recognized for its excellence and superior quality, achieving a score of 97/100, one of the highest in the competition.
The Iberian Competition Premios Mezquita de AOVE is one of the most prestigious competitions on the Iberian Peninsula, organized by the Aula del Olivo de Andalucía and the Academia del Vino de Córdoba, to recognize and encourage excellence among Spanish and Portuguese producers. The Gran Mezquita distinction is awarded exclusively to oils that obtain between 96 and 100 points after a rigorous blind tasting evaluation by a panel of experts.
